Successful surgery for high myopia related foveoschisis, full thickness macular hole and retinal detachment

Patient has high myopia, peripheral retinal degeneration and also foveoschisis and a full thickness macular hole in the left eye.
Already diminished vision is further reduced by the macular hole and foveoschisis

Pre-operative OCT

Pre-operative OCT demonstrates the splitting of retina, full thickness macular hole and retinal detachment

Patient underwent 23 G sutureless vitrectomy+ Internal limiting membrane peeling+ Gas

Post-operative OCT shows successful outcome

The macular hole has closed, retina is attached and foveoschisis is corrected.

Patient's vision has improved, The other eye has very poor vision. But he is now able to do his own work with this eye's vision.
